Kvonn, folk music band from Faroe Islands with 5 members. They are led be well known pianist, Kristian Blak.
 
Illgresi, Icelandic band of four members the plays bluegrass.
 
Gæðablóð, Icelandic band of six members, playing original compositions that they define as "folk blues"
 
Kerala, Icelandic trio that plays music from India and Turkey and other countries, e.g. Icelandic music from the middle ages.
 
Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir - well known singer in Iceland with a band of four, playing songs from a recent CD with lyrics by Aðalsteinn Ásberg Sigurðsson and music by Cornelis Vreeswijk.
 
Benjamin Koppel and Anders Koppel - Benjamin is famous saxophone player from Denmark and Anders is his father, also a famous hammond organ player. 
 
Melchior, an icelandic band of 6 six, they have been playing their own "chamber pop" music since 1973.
 
Varsjárbandalagið, an icelandic band of six members, specialising in eastern european music.
 
South River Band, an icelandic band of five, playing and singing world music, songs from Europe and America and original lyrics and compositions. 
 
KK and Leo Gillespie. Kristjan Kristjansson is a well known musician and composer in Iceland. Leo Gillespie is a well known troubadour and he has been travelling around the world and playing since 1970.
 
Kryss, a band of five. Located in Denmark and consists of musicians from Denmark, Norway and Ghana. Among the musicians are Pierre Dørge and Eskil Romme.
 
Halli Reynis, a well known troubadour in Iceland. 
 
Gunnar Þórðarson is among the best known musicians in Iceland, a guitar player and a composer. 
 
Skuggamyndir frá Byzans is a 2 year old icelandic band that specializes in music from Greek, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. 
 
Svavar Knútur is a well known troubadour in Iceland, singer, guitar player and composer. 
 
Spottarnir is an icelandic band of four, specializing in the music of Cornelis Vreeswijk.
